Storchennest Reinach

The co-educational Storchennest residential group on the Reinach BL site is a socio-pedagogically supervised residential group. Young people from the age of twelve of both sexes who live in this residential group are supported by caregivers in their personal and professional development. The focus is on relationships, clear structures and individual support. During their stay in the residential group, the adolescents and young adults learn to deal with their issues in a goal- and process-oriented manner, to take responsibility for their own actions and to develop their own goals.

The Storchennest residential group is a socio-pedagogically managed, inpatient residential group for male and female adolescents. Young people whose development is at risk receive support, encouragement, education, care and support appropriate to their situation and personality, as well as a protective environment. During their stay in the residential group, the adolescents and young adults learn to deal with their issues, take responsibility for their own actions and develop their own goals. The personal development, autonomy and co-determination of our clients are a valuable asset at the Storchennest residential group, which is crucial for the multifaceted work.

The residential group is managed by socio-educational specialists according to the caregiver system, who work together with the adolescents’ and young adults’ network to individually shape the development process in a goal-oriented manner by means of professional support planning. During their stay, the young people can take advantage of educational or vocational offers and, if necessary, the support of the therapy department.
