At the horse boarding centre, the horses are kept in individual boxes with outside windows or in an open stable. The boarding and farm horses can enjoy nature and socialize in groups on large pastures 365 days a year. Erlenhof can offer a total of 21 horses a home. Other animals such as water buffalo, runner ducks and Nera Verzasca goats as well as work with machines such as tractors, mowers and saws make the training farm a varied field of work. The farm also has its own timber and forestry operations.
Time is a mouldable variable due to the limited production pressure. This means that in addition to training and development, individual and specific goals can be developed in daily co-operation. Fears are reduced and self-confidence gained with the farm’s own animals. More self-confidence and real assertiveness can be trained in dealing with them.
