Empowerment of living

This low-threshold supported training living in 3-person shared flats is intended as a bridge between inpatient and independent living. Using goal-oriented training methods and specific workshops, the adolescents and young adults are prepared for independent living and housing over a period of six to twelve months.

In this training living, the clients have to organize their lives and run the household independently. The support team provides the adolescents and young adults with professional assistance.

The aim is to develop skills to enable them to survive in their social environment alongside the challenges of professional integration (usually after completing their training). In this development phase, the support measures focus in particular on skills such as lifestyle, rental matters, finances, insurance and leisure, which are supervised in close cooperation with the caregivers. Through clear objectives and workshops on various topics, in collaboration with our internal departments such as Technical Services, Administration, Catering and Home Economics, the adolescents and young adults gain practical knowledge for independent living.
