Erlenhof | Stiftung is an organization that provides various social services for over 450 clients of both sexes aged twelve and over in the north-western part of Switzerland with a total of 42 departments and 340 employees. The organization is an institution recognized by the Federal Office of Justice and is a member of the Intercantonal Agreement for Social Institutions (IVSE). The organization has service agreements with the Canton of Basel-Landschaft (Office for Child, Youth and Disability Services and Office for Primary Schools), with the Social Insurance Institution SVA/IV, is a recognized family placement institution (FPO) and an accredited social welfare organization.
With a progressive and modular offer, individual development courses can be designed for different target groups and needs.
The residential services offered by Erlenhof | Stiftung range from intensive educational-therapeutic and traditional residential groups to living in their own apartments (training living and assisted living) as well as aftercare. The organization also works with the canton to coordinate the accommodation of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers from initial reception to integration.
Erlenhof | Stiftung own production facilities operate entirely in the primary labor market and, in addition to training and support as a secondary core business, together generate around 15% of Erlenhof | Stiftung total income. Together with the contractual partner facilities of Social-Engagement, the organization offers training opportunities in a total of 18 professions, making it one of the largest training institutions in Northwestern Switzerland.
In addition, the Erlenhof | Stiftung operates various services such as a secondary school, bridge courses (10th school year), a therapy department and, at the Basel and Lausanne locations, a Swiss Center for Visual Impairment in the Occupational Environment (SIBU and SHRIV). In the area of specialist training, the center has training places for social pedagogues, occupational pedagogues and migration specialists.
