Further training “The challenge of visual impairment and work”, SIBU-Basel

As part of a one-day seminar for integration specialists and careers advisors from IV offices, we show the challenges that visually impaired people face in working life. Our specialists will introduce them to our comprehensive range of services “from advice to professional integration” and answer their individual questions. We will show you how to achieve optimum vision and performance in the area of low vision using the visual test and suitable aids. You will also find out which compensatory working techniques and aids can be used to overcome potential obstacles when absorbing information and which educational approaches support this. A joint lunch and a concluding discussion round will give you the opportunity to ask questions, expand on what you have heard, and make valuable contacts with industry colleagues.
