Living assistance

Living assistance is a service that can be obtained directly or as a developmental step from the Erlenhof | Stiftung inpatient residential groups, depending on abilities and possibilities. The residents live in individual apartments and are supported on site by socio-pedagogically trained residential coaches in a goal-oriented manner in the independent management of everyday life. At the same time, support can be provided for professional and labor market integration.

The aim of residential coaching is to support young adults aged 18 and over on their path to independence. The residents live independently in a one-room apartment and are visited regularly during the week (assisted living) or by the hour (aftercare) by a socio-pedagogical specialist in order to work on jointly defined objectives in the areas of life practice, personal skills and professional and social integration.

One of the aims of living assistance is to support the transition to effective independence after a residential placement at Erlenhof | Stiftung and the vocational qualification. For this reason, residents are also familiarized with and integrated into the neighbourhood and leisure activities near their homes. In this way, gradual reintegration into society and the completion of a vocational qualification can take place and be ensured in the long term.
