This service is usually provided after the person has left a vocational measure provided by the training department or after a visually impaired assessment. The persons to be accompanied are supported in the transfer and application of compensatory work techniques in a training position. Those responsible for training are informed and advised about the individual visual impairment, its effects on working methods, the aids and compensatory work techniques used, and the (support) needs resulting from the disability. Schools are supported in designing lessons and examinations that are suitable for the visually impaired and in defining measures to compensate for disadvantages.
