This service enables visually impaired people to be trained in the use of compensatory work techniques at a workplace (work, training, school, private) and is tailored to individual needs. If required, the use of new or enhanced assistive software can also be trained.

Utility training

In order to be able to use aids effectively and develop efficient working strategies, targeted training in the workplace, during training, or at home is of crucial importance. If a person is newly equipped with aids or has no previous knowledge of working in a visually impaired-friendly manner, it is recommended that they first undergo basic technical training for the visually impaired.

This service supports pupils and teachers in the final lower secondary level in designing teaching and examination formats that are suitable for the visually impaired. Recommendations can also be made for initial steps towards professional integration.

Job coaching, application course

Specialized job coaches support people with a visual impairment in preparing for the application process and actively accompany them in their search for a suitable job.

Adaptation of teaching materials

This service provides people with visual impairments with barrier-free access to teaching materials and learning platforms.
