People with a visual impairment are dependent on the use of aids and compensatory work techniques, particularly in a professional context. In our training courses, they are trained by specialized experts in developing an efficient and visually impaired way of working and are thus optimally prepared for training, retraining or returning to work. Educational and professional resources can be identified and specifically promoted. The contact and exchange of experiences with people in similar life situations can also contribute to a positive coping process with one’s own situation. A specialized vocational coach accompanies the client in the respective vocational measure and maintains contact with the IV offices.
