If the client then participates in an inpatient training course, they are accompanied and supported by a specialized coaching expert. In cooperation with the responsible IV offices, this person is responsible for taking the first steps towards professional integration. The Low Vision competence area provides clients with expert advice on their visual impairment and supports them in the rehabilitation process. If necessary, further rehabilitative training such as LPF (practical life skills) or O+M (orientation and mobility training) is coordinated.
