Visually impaired assessment PLUS

The PLUS low vision assessment enables a rapid assessment of the low vision skills of people who have already been fitted with aids and are working in a visually impaired activity. The assessment report with test results, a detailed low vision report, and recommendations for further action enables those involved to plan the next steps carefully and sustainably.

Visually impaired assessment PLUS

The Assessment Plus for the visually impaired enables the client to have individual questions answered quickly and easily by experts in the field of the visually impaired. As part of the Assessment Plus, the level of knowledge in other specialist areas such as Braille or German, foreign languages, arithmetic, etc., can also be tested in addition to the assessment results. In the test procedure, the visually impaired person’s technical performance can also be assessed, taking into account the current use of aids and the compensatory working techniques currently used (e.g., typing, reading, or navigation speed).

Visually impaired assessments take place weekly at the Basel or Lausanne site over the course of half a day.
