As a central task, the in-house pharmacy is responsible for the entire medication management process during a placement in our inpatient departments. At the beginning, this includes a health and medication anamnesis, the procurement, storage and dispensing management of medication and medical products, the coordination of medication therapy with the attending doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists as well as ensuring complete documentation. The aim is to offer clients the best possible care during their stay and to ensure medication safety.
Other areas of responsibility include training and advising specialist staff, holding topic-specific workshops for clients and networking the organization with the healthcare system. Erlenhof | Hausapotheke also supports other socio-educational institutions on a mandate basis.
