Our therapeutic work is tailored to the individual needs of our clients and is based primarily on the principles of empathy, care and a sense of responsibility. With great commitment, interest and a willingness to learn, we accompany our clients through their emotional and personal development in adolescence and promote their independence. In addition to our experience and our role as a learning model, we experience our clients as experts in their own life stories and therefore attach great importance to empathy and transparent, direct communication. We take a holistic view of the human being and develop a bio-psychosocial concept as an explanation for the development and manifestation of psychological complaints. We attach great importance to a careful case conception and try to create an individualized treatment plan in cooperation with the residential group based on the biography, needs and diagnostic assessment. Our aim is to promote the emotional state of the adolescents to such an extent that their individual developmental capacity increases and socio-educational interventions and actions can be more successful again.
Due to the various tasks and difficulties of the young people, we work with an eclectic approach with the aim of activating strengths and resources and achieving positive development in a process-orientated manner. In addition to classic behavioural therapy methods, we use other therapeutic methods such as depth psychology, mindfulness, acceptance and value orientation. We work in a systemic, solution-orientated way and consider the client and the interactions in their social system (school, residential group, family, friends).
