Students who display disruptive behavior in regular classes or who are temporarily unable to attend regular classes due to special circumstances benefit from a structured program. In the school TimeOut program in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, they gain valuable experience in a company. The school TimeOut BL has been an integral part of the public school system since 2008 and offers secondary school students in the canton of Basel-Landschaft a temporary break of up to eight weeks. The Erlenhof Foundation works closely with the Basel-Land school TimeOut program to offer internships in its internal production facilities (secondary labor market) for secondary school students. The collaboration is governed by a service agreement with the Office for Elementary Schools (AVS).
